When you plug the hose into a wall inlet the vacuum turns on automatically. Remove the hose and the system shuts off.

Alternatively the model with Radio Remote Control (CV 30iRRC) is even easier to use - simply press the on/off control button which can be located at the hand portion of the hose to turn on/off.
The ergonomic design of the handle helps you to work easier.

Exhaust air is extracted outside

Dust and debris travel through the hose into a pipeline of PVC tubing that runs through the property’s walls, floors or attic to a large Central Vacuum power unit mounted in the basement, garage or utility room.

The exhaust air is extracted outside the house without any recycling of air back into the room through the use of it’s non-intrusive ducting system unlike most portable vacuum cleaners, which leave much of the fine dust still circulating in the air.

4 – 5 times more powerful than conventional vacuum cleaners

Because the motor and collector are remote, most units and motors are much more powerful than portable vacuums and have a larger capacity. The Centravac’s power vacuum unit typically
only needs emptying only 2 or 3 times a year. Noise is out of earshot due to the power vacuum unit being sited away from the habitable areas (garage; basement; utility etc.) resulting in a near silent system. The suction power remains constant to all outlets within the designed central vacuum system, it can perform at 100% suction over 200 feet of ducting irrespective of outlets.
